What my students say
Surfing is a fantastic pursuit to learn. Think about it there’s no impact on your joints like running, it works your entire body, you’re out in natural surrounds taking in fresh air. What more could you ask for. That’s our attitude but then we’ve grown up around the sea and been involved in surf culture.
But my students come from all parts of the world. Some of my students have never been in the open ocean, let alone surfed. Learning to surf can be great for self confidence, fitness, feeling at ease in the ocean and a great exercise to undertake on “off” days from the gym or running … allowing you to exercise but still recover.
